Winter is finally here, and all we can think about is staying warm while out on the trail. In our search to retain feeling in our fingers, we found these Yamaha cab kits for the Wolverine RMAX on the shopyamaha.com website. They haven’t quite been released yet, but they look like the perfect way to stay out of the elements on the trail. With Yamaha’s factory heater kits, you can stay much warmer in the winter too. And since they’re all Yamaha bits, you don’t risk the factory warranty.
It looks like Yamaha will offer a few different flavors of door kits for the RMAX 1000 models come spring 2022. Options range from plastic half doors that work with the stock three-piece doors to a full door with adjustable glass windows.
This will be the first factory-offered hard cab door for the RMAX 1000, and they will be available for the RMAX2 or RMAX4. The page notes that everything will integrate into your unit as it should. The window will have three settings: closed, vented, and open. The doors also have a place to mount a Yamaha speaker pod and offer a storage pocket.

The hard doors can be combined with a glass windshield, rear glass panel, and plastic roof to create a completely closed cabin. Judging by the limited photos, it appears that each cab piece is fully weather sealed with beefy weatherstripping.
These hard cab door kits will be available starting spring 2022 for all Wolverine RMAX 1000 models from 2021 on. The front door is the same for both RMAX2 and RMAX4 models. The RMAX4 also uses a smaller rear door kit.

If you’d like to fully enclose your RMAX, you’ll probably need the full cab kit for your rig. This includes a glass front windshield with wiper assembly, rear sliding glass panel, and two (or four) hard cab doors.
