Arctic Cat has launched refreshed side-by-sides for 2022. While we aren’t seeing any true platform revisions, each model does receive a host of suspension specification updates and new colors.
The 2022 Prowler lineup still offers buyers three versions of the UTV: the nimble Prowler 500 two-seater, a sturdy Prowler Pro three-seater, and the extra-long Prowler Pro Crew six-seater. Each comes standard with a 2-inch receiver, utility bed, and class-leading storage compartments.
The 2022 Arctic Cat Prowler 500 ($9,999) sees only color changes for 2022. It will come in either Coyote Tan or Smoke Screen Gray. Standard features include electronic fuel ignition, double A-arm 7.5-inch-travel suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, 25-inch-tall tires, and halogen headlights. Bed capacity measures in at 500 pounds and towing capacity is rated at 1,500 pounds.
While door nets are the only standard cabin enclosure feature, optional accessories include various upgraded components. The Adventure Kit will include rearview mirror, full polycarbonate windshield, and rear window. The Enforcer Kit includes a winch mount, 4,500-pound winch, front bumper, and rear bumper. The Protection Plus Kit includes hard doors, hard top, full polycarbonate windshield, rearview mirror, and rear panel. The Winter Kit includes a winch mount, 4,500-pound winch, push frame and mount kit, 66-inch steel blade.
The 2022 Arctic Cat Prowler Pro drops with three slightly refreshed submodels that center around a redesigned CVT transmission and upgraded suspension components that offer up to an extra 2.25 inches of ground clearance over the outgoing 2021 model year vehicles. While suspension travel stays the same at 10 inches up front and 9.5 inches in the rear, new valving is utilized to improve comfort. Larger 27-inch-diameter tires are mounted to newly designed seven-spoke black alloy wheels for XT and LTD trims; EPS trimmed models wear 26-inch tires front and rear. High-clearance arched A-arms result in even more underbelly clearance. Upgraded half shaft axles complement a redesigned CVTech transmission system to boost durability and performance.
The 2022 Arctic Cat Prowler Pro EPS ($14,199), in Medium Green, will act as the base model. The EPS trim will include a premium front bumper and standard half-doors, but comes with smaller 26-inch tires. This results in an inch less ground clearance when compared to the higher trim packages.
The 2022 Arctic Cat Prowler Pro XT ($16,049), offered in Phantom Gray, takes a step up in fit and finish with LED accenting. The XT trim will include a premium front bumper, standard half-doors, color-matched springs, and a 4,500-pound Warn winch.
And, finally, the Prowler Pro LTD ($16,599) builds on the Pro XT package by adding a fully color matched ROPS cage and front bumper. The LTD model comes in the color Fossil.
Each Prowler Pro model can be equipped with either the Adventure Kit or the Winter Kit. The Adventure Kit will include rearview mirror, full polycarbonate windshield, and rear polycarbonate window. The Winter Kit includes a plow push frame and frame mount, and a 72-inch steel plow blade. All trim levels are rated at 1,000 pounds of bed capacity and 2,000 pounds of towing capacity.
The 2022 Arctic Cat Prowler Pro Crew six-seater models take everything fresh about the regular Prowler Pro and add a second row of seating for additional passenger capacity. Refreshed wheels, tires, and suspension components are all included for the 2022 model year Pro Crew. All trim levels are rated at 1,000 pounds of bed capacity and 2,000 pounds of towing capacity.
As seen on the 2022 Prowler Pro models, the 2022 Prowler Pro Crew rigs will come in the same three trim levels featuring the same component groupings; EPS, XT, and LTD. Each trim package will wear the same colors as the smaller Prowler Pro models, respectively.
